Introduction:
This project is a dual-integrated system featuring a Smart IoT-Based Wireless EV Charging Road and an IoT-enabled Electric Vehicle (EV) with real-time monitoring. The system showcases wireless energy transfer, vehicle detection automation, and remote data monitoring via ThingSpeak, powered by solar energy. The road is embedded with inductive coils, which transfer power wirelessly to electric vehicles. The system uses 8 IR sensors to detect the position of the vehicle, so only the coil directly under the car is activated—ensuring high energy efficiency. The electric car is designed to run on the wireless road charging system and includes a real-time onboard monitoring system using sensors and an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to log data to ThingSpeak.
This project shows a dynamic wireless charging system for an Arduino-based EV car. 8 TX induction coils along a track create magnetic fields using pulse generators controlled by an 8-channel relay module. IR sensors detect the car’s position and switch the coils on and off as the car moves. RX coil on the car wirelessly picks up power, which is displayed on a 16×2 LCD. An ESP8266 Wi-Fi module and DHT11 sensor sends real-time voltage, temperature, and humidity data to a server, enabling remote monitoring and diagnostics of the car’s charging status and environmental conditions.
Objectives:
* To develop a wireless system power transmission system to charge the battery.
* To optimize coil power consumption when no vehicle is there.
* To develop a Robotic car to show continuous power delivery to the battery.
• To show battery Parameter on Web server like Battery %, Temperature, Humidity, Battery Voltage.
