Description
The “Remote Controlled Forklift” project is intended to create a small, effective, and efficient model of a forklift that can be controlled remotely with wireless technology. The prototype mimics the simple functions of industrial forklifts such as moving forward and backward, turning, lifting, and lowering loads. The mini forklift is well-suited for demonstration purposes, small warehouses, or limited spaces where large forklifts are impractical. This project involves mechanical design, electronics, and control systems to showcase a full mechatronics applications.
Forklifts
are an indispensable component in industries, warehouses, and building sites for moving and lifting heavy materials. But conventional forklifts are operated manually and are usually large and costly. This project investigates a miniaturized form — a Remote Controlled Forklift — that can be used for small-scale material handling and as a teaching aid. Operated through RF (Radio Frequency), Bluetooth, or other wireless technology, this forklift shows that remote operating is possible in narrow or dangerous conditions. This prototype also opens the door to automation for the future and incorporation into intelligent warehouse systems.
