IOT Based Smart Garbage Monitoring System
₹14,000.00
This paper presents an innovative Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled garbage management system, designed to optimize waste collection and enhance environmental sustainability. The system utilizes Arduino microcontrollers, an ultrasonic sensor, and a gas sensor to monitor the fill-level of garbage in a waste bucket and detect harmful gases emitted during decomposition

DESCRIPTION
Power supply to each component of the model is provided by the source. The solar panel is used as a source; it is connected to a battery as well as a voltage regulator. There are various sensors connected in the circuit diagram: moisture sensor, ultrasonic sensor, IR sensor, gas sensor, Wi-Fi (ESP8266) module connected with Arduino. All sensors are given to the 5v supply. Basically, a moisture sensor is used to detect moisture content. The ultrasonic sensor is used to detect the level of garbage. A gas sensor is used to detect harmful gases.
