📘Introduction:
Arduino-based Automatic Bike Stand is a smart embedded system that improves the safety and convenience of two-wheeler riders. In this project, the conventional manual kickstand is substituted by an automatic servo-based system that folds the stand back as soon as the bike engine is started with a lock key. The stand is unfolded automatically when the engine is shut down.
This smart automation not only eliminates the requirement of the rider to move the stand manually but also prevents accidents resulting from stands left behind. The system is powered by the Arduino microcontroller, which receives the ignition signal and regulates the servo motor accordingly to move the stand. This is an excellent real-world embedded automation, best suited for engineering students, robotics hobbyists, and practical vehicle safety applications.
