Audible Receiver Alert & Customization

The system includes a dedicated receiver unit equipped with a built-in buzzer that instantly generates an audible alarm whenever a drone is detected within the camera’s surveillance area. This immediate sound alert helps security personnel quickly recognize potential aerial threats even without continuously monitoring the display.

The alarm system is fully customizable according to the user’s requirements. The buzzer tone, sound pattern, alert duration, activation distance, detection sensitivity, operating modes, notification logic, and overall system functionality can be modified based on the intended application. Additional features such as LED indicators, relay outputs, GSM/SMS notifications, wireless communication modules, mobile app alerts, sirens, or integration with existing security systems can also be incorporated as required.

Working Principle

The camera continuously captures live video from the surrounding environment. The NVIDIA Jetson Nano processes each frame using a trained YOLO deep learning model to detect drone-shaped objects in real time.

Once a drone is identified, the system draws a bounding box around the detected UAV and displays the confidence score on the monitor. Simultaneously, the receiver unit activates the buzzer to alert nearby operators. The drone is continuously tracked as it moves across the camera’s field of view, enabling uninterrupted surveillance.

Since all processing is performed directly on the Jetson Nano, the system provides high-speed, low-latency detection without requiring cloud connectivity. Depending on customer requirements, additional alert mechanisms and communication modules can be integrated into the system.
