DESCRIPTION
Solar chimneys are passive ventilation systems that leverage the use of solar power to produce a natural flow for ventilation and cooling objectives. The advanced solar chimney system proposed incorporates other components in an effort to enhance its functioning. The addition of an MQ7 sensor allows the system to keep track of indoor air quality by measuring the level of carbon monoxide (CO). CO is a toxic gas produced from combustion reactions and may have health hazards when built up indoors. The MQ7 sensor continuously detects CO concentration and supplies real-time data to the system.
