DESCRIPTION

The proposed system consists of two main components: parking space monitoring and gate monitoring. For parking space monitoring, IR sensors are deployed at strategic locations to detect the presence of vehicles in each parking space. The data from these sensors are then transmitted to a central server through IoT technology. Users can access this information through a mobile application or a web interface, enabling them to find available parking spaces easily.

For gate monitoring, two IR sensors are employed at the entry and exit gates of the parking area. These sensors detect incoming and outgoing vehicles, allowing the system to monitor the occupancy status of the entire parking facility accurately. An intelligent algorithm manages the opening and closing of gates in response to the vehicle’s movement, ensuring smooth traffic flow within the parking area.
