📘 Introduction:

Indian agriculture engages over 60% of the labor force and is the support system of the Indian economy. Hence, enhancing the productivity and efficiency of agriculture, as well as the livelihood of farmers, is of extreme value. Activities like pesticide spraying and application of fertilizers are usually time-consuming and labor-intensive. While pesticide spraying is now unavoidable, it is harmful to farmers’ health. To cover themselves, farmers wear many protective measures—like protective gear, masks, and gloves—but they are not always effective. On the other hand, excluding pesticides altogether is not possible in order to reach intended agricultural targets. In this regard, the application of robots presents an optimal solution, increasing productivity and safety during the agricultural process.
This project is aimed at designing a smart Agriculture Drone that can spray pesticides, fertilizers, and nutrients effectively over vast farming fields. The drone incorporates GPS navigation, telemetry communication, and remote-control operation to enable automated aerial spraying. With its mounted storage tank and pumping system, the UAV provides thorough coverage of crops, saves labor effort, and decreases chemical wastage—providing a viable solution for contemporary precision farming and green agriculture.

• To design and build a UAV for agricultural applications with spraying capability.
• To integrate GPS-based navigation for autonomous and semi-autonomous flight.
• To enable real-time communication using a telemetry system.
• To reduce manual labor and increase efficiency in crop spraying.
• To promote smart farming techniques and precision agriculture.

METHODOLOGY

The Pneumatic Can Crusher crushes aluminum cans by means of a pneumatic piston that is powered by compressed air. The solenoid valve receives electrical power when the switch is pressed, directing compressed air from the air compressor into the pneumatic cylinder. The can inside the crushing chamber is compressed as a result of the pressurized air pushing the piston forward with force. The piston retracts to its initial position when the can is crushed because the solenoid valve alters the direction of airflow. Cans can be crushed quickly and repeatedly with little manual labor thanks to this straightforward but efficient mechanism. Pneumatics guarantee a low-maintenance, clean operation, which makes it perfect for automation learning projects or small recycling setups.
